South Milwaukee Little League Updates: 3-21-20
Dear South Milwaukee Little League Families,
We are living in uncertain and unprecedented times, but the SMLL Board of Directors looks forward to baseball and softball in South Milwaukee in a modified season when it is possible. In the meantime, the Board of Directors has voted unanimously to issue full refunds for the upcoming season.
Refunds will include:
- Registration fees
- Volunteer deposits
- Candy buyouts
There will be no requirement to sell candy; no payments for candy will be collected.
Refunds will be sent out as soon as we work through the logistics with our registration vendor. Another notification will be sent out with the details of the transactions. We are taking this step to be supportive of our community, knowing families may need these funds.
The board has been working on potential timetables for a modified season and will continue to do so as the situation develops. We will notify families of those plans when they can be finalized. In the meantime, all players have been placed on teams for when the season kicks off. When that happens, no registration or other fees will be collected. We look forward to enjoying SMLL baseball and softball, the great community of SMLL family and friends, and providing players post-game treats.
For those who have not yet registered, we will accept additional registrations once we have finalized a start date for the season. Again, no fees will be collected for these registrations. However, new registrations will be limited to the number of players needed to fill out current team rosters. Families will be notified of this registration opportunity when the plans for the season can be finalized.
