Hurry – All Star spirit wear now available (link is attached and can be found on our website). All orders must be received by June 15th – no late orders will be accepted. All Star Spirit Wear orders will be given to All Star Managers along with the uniforms and will be distributed prior to the first All Star games in early July. Show your support for our all-stars!

South Milwaukee Little League has again partnered with Styled Aesthetic, a South Milwaukee business at 918 Milwaukee Avenue. Together we are offering spirit wear for SMLL as well as our Jr. Rocket Softball, Jr. Rocket Baseball programs. You will be able to order your spirt wear year round!

Orders are processed on the 1st of the month and will be ready to be picked up at the store on the 10th. You will receive an e-mail notification when your order is ready.

SMLL depends on the contribution of volunteer to function effectively. From getting the fields ready for Opening Day, helping out in the concession stands, taking on some umpiring or many of the other tasks that keep SMLL running, the players in our league benefit directly from your volunteer efforts. Though we depend on volunteers, we also respect that families are busy and juggling multiple commitments. We continuously work to meet the league’s needs while respecting the multiple priorities families juggle.
SMLL will again be using SignUpGenius to coordinate volunteers and we will also continue to also use a paper volunteer shift tracking system.
Signing Up for Volunteer Hours

Again this season, in order to have to volunteer deposit returned, families are require to complete three “shifts” per family (two hours of grounds work, 5:00-7:45pm or 7:15-10:00pm in the concession stand, or umpiring one game), with .
*Since there are a limited number of grounds preparation and maintenance tasks, Grounds Clean Up volunteer shifts will only be credited for those who sign up via the SignUpGenius. “Walk up” volunteers are welcome, but will receive no credit toward the volunteer deposit return. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
If you have a special skill that you are willing to offer in lieu of a concession stand shift, such as electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, etc. please contact (Tony Goodenough email@example.com).
We are again instituting “team nights” in the concession stand. Please sign up for your team’s nights first (Included in the 2018 Parent In-Season Parent Packet). Once your team’s concession commitment is filled, you are welcome to select shifts on other evenings.
Tracking Volunteer Shifts
A volunteer form is attached for you to use to receive credit for your volunteer service and request the return of your volunteer deposit (it is also available at the SMLL Website in the 2018 Parent In Season Packet). When you have completed a volunteer shift, a SMLL board must certify your service. Several board members are at SMLL Park each evening. A list of board members can be found on our website.
Once you have complete three volunteer shifts, mail your form to SMLL, Attn: Treasurer, PO Box 11, South Milwaukee 53172 or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you choose to mail your form, be sure to retain a copy for your records.
Upon completion of the hours requirements the volunteer deposits will be mailed to the address used during registration.
The time and effort that you as a community put forth create lasting memories for our children. Please remember that the required hours are the minimum that we request but there is no maximum.
